Akadi PDX

Akadi chef-owner Fatou Ouattara brings the flavors of her native Ivory Coast and other West African countries to Portland, where you'll find devoted locals enjoying authentic dishes at kente-cloth-covered tables in the low-key dining room. Samusas, cassava sticks and jolof rice plates are crowd-pleasing entry points, but the flavor-rich traditional stews (eaten with fufu) are truly where it's at.
