Moon & Sixpence

Topping the short list of places in Portland where you can get a proper pint of Guinness is this lovely old-fashioned pub, with good fish-and-chips, friendly but not overly attentive service, darts in the back, old books to borrow and a huge patio outside for when the rain lets up. On a gray Portland day it's hard to do better.
