Wooly Pig lies well off the beaten path in farmland central. The brewery itself is part of a 90-acre farm where you’ll see the namesake porkers snuffling around the hilly grounds. Head to the rustic tasting room, made from reclaimed barn wood, to knock back excellent German-style beers, say a rye dunkel, pineapple wheat beer or Keller pils.
With its pastoral landscape, hops growing on trellises, neighborly vibe and crisp, clean suds in steins, Wooly Pig's scene is reminiscent of Bavaria. It's located about 20 miles south of Sugarcreek and Charm.
