Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial

Ohio

The 352ft Doric column is a singular attraction. Take the elevator to the observation deck for views of Lake Erie, the islands and, on a good day, Canada.

Built in 1915, the monument pays tribute to naval commander Oliver Hazard Perry, the Battle of Lake Erie and the long-standing peace between the United States, Great Britain and Canada.
