OK, so the name doesn’t quite roll off the tongue, but everything else about this Carrboro wine bar – sorry, ‘wine-centric restaurant’ – oozes sleek sophistication. The food is exquisite, with pan-seared scallops or duck confit for dinner, but it’s the majestic array of international wines in the adjoining shop, also sold at the bar, that really draws in the crowds.
Lunch mains cost $8 to $13, and dinner mains go for $15 to $32.
