Squam Lake Inn

New Hampshire

This century-old Victorian farmhouse has eight rooms, all decorated in vintage New England style – quilts on the beds, antique furnishings and a local 'Lakes' theme – with modern touches like iPod docking stations. Higher-priced rooms include gas fireplaces and/or stoves. A mahogany deck and wraparound porch overlook woodsy grounds. Breakfast included.
