A-Bear's Cafe

Cajun Country

A-Bear's has been kicking around since 1963, and the shack that houses this restaurant looks like it might have been fixed up once since then. No big deal, because the food, beloved by locals, is on point: groaning platters of oysters, shrimp, catfish, bowls of gumbo and a selection of pies cooked by angels on high.

There's music and dancing on Friday nights, from 5pm to 9pm.
