Indiana

Gummy bear fans should flock to this Merrillville candy factory, much beloved in Indiana but also known worldwide if not by name but flavor (they make custom gummy candies for companies including Disney). You can't tour the factory, but you can peek in the windows of the massive operation (artisanal this is not!) and, of course, raid the candy store.

You can buy a 5lb-bag of 'Goof Ups' for $6! It's no Haribo, but sweet tooths will be pleased with the Willy Wonka-esque selection of candies and chocolates.
