Lucky Belly

Honolulu

Sleek bistro tables are packed elbows-to-shoulders at this arts-district noodle bar, which crafts hot and spicy Asian-fusion bites, knockout artisanal cocktails and amazingly fresh, almost architectural salads that the whole table can share. A 'Belly Bowl' of ramen soup topped with three kinds of pork is superb, as is the Korean-style brisket.

Note the historical plaque outside that notes that this is where the devastating fire of 1886 started.
