La Mariana Sailing Club

Top choice in Honolulu

Time warp! Who says all the great tiki bars are gone? Irreverent and kitschy, this thatch-walled 1950s joint on the harbor is filled with modern-day sailors and bemused locals. Classic mai tais are as killer as the other tropical potions, complete with tiki-head swizzle sticks and tiny umbrellas. Grab a waterfront table and dream of sailing the South Pacific.

Much of the best tiki-themed decor and furniture was rescued by the owners from long lost Waikiki tiki bars, such as Don the Beachcomber. Food here is an afterthought.
