Jampot

Upper Peninsula

A small community of bearded, black-robed monks from Holy Transfiguration Skete, a Byzantine Catholic monastery, sell their wares on the grounds. Jam is the shop’s signature item, which the monks make from wild thimbleberries, blueberries and strawberries they pick in the surrounding woods. They also roast coffee beans and sell caramels, chocolates and pound cake muffins that they produce.
