Slippery Noodle Inn

Indianapolis

Downtown's Slippery Noodle Inn is the oldest bar in the state (slinging drinks since 1850), and has seen action as a brothel, a slaughterhouse, a gangster hangout and an Underground Railroad station; currently, it's one of the best blues clubs in the country. There's live music nightly; and it's cheap.
