Indy Hostel

Indianapolis

This fun hostel was completely revamped in 2019 after a drunk driver plowed through the living room. A hip and friendly couple manage the two houses, offering a six-bed female dorm, a 12-bed mixed dorm and five private rooms, as well as a new dining room, a design-forward lounge and a kitchen island. A summer concert series draws eclectic crowds.

The Monon Trail hiking/cycling path runs beside the property, and the hostel rents bikes (per day $10). It's located near Broad Ripple, so a bit of a haul from downtown (on bus 17).
