Murat Theatre at Old National Centre

Indianapolis

Standing out in downtown Indy like a beautiful Moorish sore thumb, this Middle Eastern and Egyptian–accented venue is the city's oldest stage house and was originally built as a temple in 1909 for the Murat Shriners of the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine (who still own it today).

It contains an 1800-seat concert hall and a 2500-seat performing arts theater.
