With a gilded awning, and a staged graced by actors/comedians Charlie Chaplin and Milton Berle as well as ballet-dancer Anna Pavlova, the 100-year-old Imperial Theatre hearkens to glamorous times of vaudeville and photoplays. It was James Brown’s home theater as well. Today it's been restored and hosts plays, shows and a free summer film series.
