Disney Character Dining

Walt Disney World

Make reservations up to six months (yes, six!) for any of the 20 or so character-dining meals at Disney World. These are not fine-dining experiences, nor are they intimate affairs – they can be rather loud and chaotic. Characters rotate around the room, stopping for a minute or so at each table to pose for a photograph and sign autographs.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort features several character meals, such as a buffet breakfast with Winnie the Pooh, Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland, the Perfectly Princess Tea Party, and the Cinderella Happily Ever After dinner; there's a jam-packed breakfast and dinner with Goofy, Donald Duck and pals at Chef Mickey's in Disney's Contemporary Resort; princesses mingle in Epcot's Norway at the Akershus Royal Banquet; and the 100 Acre Wood folk come to Magic Kingdom's Crystal Palace for three meals a day. These vary in price; check the Disney website for a schedule.
