Located in the W Hotel, Mr Chow takes Chinese American comfort food to gourmet heights. The setting is almost intimidatingly cool, with dangling moderne-style chandeliers and an enormous bar plucked out of Sex and the City, yet service is friendly and the food lovely: prawns with water chestnuts, crispy duck with pancakes and plum sauce, and vermicelli noodles with lobster.
