More than a farmers' stand, Robert’s is an institution. This is Old Florida at its kitschy best, in love with the Glades and the agriculture that surrounds it. You'll find loads of exotic, Florida-grown fruits you won't elsewhere – including black sapote, carambola (star fruit), dragon fruit, sapodilla, guanabana (soursop), tamarind, sugar apples, longans and passion fruit. The juices are fantastic.
There’s also a petting zoo and a water-play area for the kids (bring your own towels), live music on weekends, and plenty of homemade preserves and sauces. Plus Robert is there every day, working the counter and giving insight into these delectable tropical riches.
