Hotel Redland

Everglades National Park

On the edge of Homestead's quaint downtown, the Hotel Redland is set in a 1904 building that has a warm, cozy vibe thanks to its gracious hosts. The 12 rooms are comfortable, but dated in a charming, grandmotherly way (quilted bedspreads, floral curtains, old photos or framed paintings on the walls).

There's a good restaurant here – which is just as well as the area feels deserted at night, so you'll need to get around by car.
