Sequoia Brewing Company

Sequoia National Park

Downtown's sports-themed brewpub names its beers in honor of local landmarks: down a cold pint of General Sherman IPA or General Grant ESB. Sells food too, from herbaceous calamari and beer-battered zucchini to the Mark Twain chicken sandwich and the Sequoia steak ($10 to $24). Happy hour runs 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday and 1pm to 4pm Saturday and Sunday, with $4 pints and $4 well (mixed) drinks.

Regular live music at weekends.
