This well-maintained, well-shaded, tent-only campground is off Generals Hwy about 6 miles northeast of the Ash Mountain Entrance, down a winding road that's off-limits to RVs and trailers. It has water, fire rings and grills, bear lockers and clean flush toilets. There's access to the Paradise Creek Trail, with close passage to the rushing Paradise Creek river and falls.
Due to its lower elevation, it's a little warmer and one of the first campgrounds to open for the season. Reservations accepted (and strongly advised) between late May and late September.
