Scoma's

Sausalito

Equal parts old-school Marin and tourist magnet, Scoma's has an enviable setting on stilts, right over the bay. Few places do seafood (all sustainable) better. The gambas con aillo (garlic prawns) are exquisite, the fried calamari is the best you'll find anywhere and the shrimp and crab Louies are a taste of the Bay Area of yesteryear. Worth a splurge.

This Sausalito location is arguably more charming than their main San Francisco restaurant.
