Next door to the Sugar Pine Railroad, this friendly and comfortable 26-room inn has a seasonal hot tub and pool, a small bar and the finest restaurant in the area. Each tastefully appointed room features unique decor and a pleasant deck facing the trees and mountains, and all have flat-screen TVs. The breakfast buffet, included in room rates, is excellent.
On the grounds there's also a seasonal creekside trail, a pretty garden with azaleas and rhododendron, columbine, ferns, foxglove, hydrangea and dogwood trees, plus a vintage fire engine.
