Cave Springs

Mt Shasta Region

These creekside cabins seem unchanged since the 1920s, even though the interiors were recently updated. They are rustic – very rustic – but their location, nestled on a piney crag above the Sacramento River, is lovely and ideal for anglers. At night the sound of rushing water mingles with the haunting whistle of trains.

The motel rooms are bland, but they’re up to modern standards and have more amenities than the cabins.
