Most visitors steam on past this glass-fronted restaurant in the hunt for its more famous neighbour, Al Dhafra. That's a pity because the ambience here, once you're inside, is every bit as authentic with lots of old photographs on the wall and the catch of the day (priced by kilo) delivered virtually from dhow to dinner plate.
There's also good chicken biryanis and seafood tajines (stew cooked in a traditional clay pot).
