Lake Chahafi Resort

Southwestern Uganda

Located 15km outside Kisoro off the road to the Rwanda border, these cottages offer a great hideaway by the lake. There are plenty of activities including biking, birding and canoeing. The site has a remarkable history as the place of a WWI battle that saw British and Belgian troops up against the Germans in 1915; trenches can still be seen.

All meals are available and there's a bar.
