Kluge's Guest Farm

Top choice in Southwestern Uganda

Whether you're drinking a beer with Stefan Kluge himself or watching monkeys skate across the treetops, this well-run retreat is unique. The cooking alone is some of the best in Uganda, served buffet style with homemade sausage, fresh breads and house hot sauce. Rooms are immaculate and beds divine. There's a sparkling little pool and roaring evening campfire.

Kids will enjoy the forest trail, playground and farm animals on-site. The hosts can arrange village walks and offer good travel advice. It's 15km from Fort Portal and well signposted.
