With a welcoming owner, who speaks a little English, Kadim is one of the best-run boutique hotels in Mardin. Standard rooms are definitely snug but have lovely original arched-stone walls. Bag one of the deluxe rooms on the 1st floor, which open out onto a wide terrace and come with more space.
