Montania

Western Anatolia

Mudanya's most famous hotel occupies a French-built railway building dating to 1849, with views of the boats sailing in and out of the neighbouring ferry terminal. Rooms are split between this renovated building and a new block, where you lose the historical character.

The restaurant, offering live Turkish music on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and the bar with train-carriage seating make good use of the older structure. Daily tours are offered to Bursa and beyond. Even if you're not staying here, it's an essential destination for an afternoon or evening drink on the terrace.
