La Fontaine Konak Otel

Western Anatolia

Someone really likes lilac at this restored Ottoman building on Mudanya's main road. The entrance lobby and tranquil inner courtyard are lilac-arama on walls and soft furnishings, bordering on kitsch. Upstairs, in the plain but spacious rooms, the pale violet is left behind and replaced with grey. The ultra-friendly proprietors are a major plus point.

They also have a second hotel La Fontaine Butik located right in the old town.
