A favourite haunt of younger İznik locals who come here to gossip and sip çay for hours, Kalyon is a friendly joint with a wide lake-facing veranda. Head here after strolling the lake for a rejuvenating cold or hot drink. The coffee's not great but the sahlep (a hot milky drink) is yummy.
