Türk-Alman Kitabevi Cafe

Beyoğlu

Students, expats and İstanbullus with a literary bent are regular fixtures at this cafe on the 1st floor of the Turkish-German Bookshop on İstiklal Caddesi. It's particularly welcoming in the cooler months, when the open fire, couches and jazz-dominated sound system beckon. Sadly, the quality of the coffee and food leaves a lot to be desired.
