Gallipoli Houses

Top choice in Gallipoli Peninsula

Located in a farming village within the Gallipoli Historical National Park, this is an excellent option when visiting the peninsula. Many of the lovely rooms have outdoor areas perfect for relaxing after visiting the battlefields and the well-travelled owners are excellent hosts. There's usually a minimum stay of two nights and children under the age of 10 are not accommodated.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and there is a pleasant bar area where guests can enjoy a drink and chat before dinner (€17.50). Eric, the Belgian co-host, and his Turkish wife, Ozlem, are equally at ease preparing home-cooked Turkish cuisine as tailoring a battlefields itinerary. Lunch boxes are also available.
