Kırım Tatar Kültür Çibörek Evi

Eskişehir

Çibörek (deep-fried turnovers filled with mincemeat) is the local version of the Crimean Tartar chebureki. During the 18th and 19th centuries, Crimean Tartars emigrated in substantial numbers here and as well as absorbing the community, the city adopted this as its favourite snack. A portion of three of these oily, puffed-up pastries makes for a filling – though not particularly healthy – lunch.

Look for the green house, a few metres further down the lane after the main entrance into the Kurşunlu Külliyesi Complex.
