Kempinski Barbaros Bay

Bodrum Peninsula

Bodrum's branch of the famed German hotel chain is cradled within a sea-facing cliff with its own private beach and docks. The ubermodern rooms have all of the expected amenities (as well as balconies with sea views), and there are five restaurants in season, three bars, a complete spa centre and good fitness facilities.

The real marvel here is the massive infinity pool, possibly Turkey's largest and an adjacent all-wood chill-out area featuring hanging greenery and lounge beds. There are lots of organised children's activities to suit families.
