Right in Karadut village centre, the charming Işık has just four large, bright, well-maintained rooms, kept spick and span and jazzed up with colourful bedding. The welcoming family that owns it speaks a little English and tries hard to help. Excellent home cooking is rustled up for breakfast and dinner. Return transfers to Nemrut's summit are ₺100.
