As well as being renowned as Gaziantep's finest pastane (patisserie), Orkide serves up one of the city's most popular breakfasts (₺35) and is known for its katmer (pastry layered with nuts and clotted cream). Somewhat a victim of its own success, it gets seriously crowded on weekends and service can be slow. Come on a weekday to avoid the chaos.
It also has a menu of international dishes if you fancy a plate of pasta or a burger. To find it, turn north along Gazimuhtarpaşa Bulvarı 400m west of the tourist office.
