Tucked inside the citadel battlements far above Bursa's minarets and domes, this Ottoman mansion and one-time book bazaar offers 13 individually styled rooms and larger suites (one suite boasts a marble-lined hamam). There's also a gorgeous rear courtyard with fountain where drinks and meals are served. We applaud the free pick-up/drop-off from the BUDO/İDO seaports or Bursa otogar (bus station).
Well-polished wood fixtures and little touches such as artwork and stained glass complement the rows of bookshelves and vintage knick-knacks. Minibars and the à la carte restaurant make it a tempting place to while away an evening.
