This unpretentious but highly recommended place fries up the day's catch from the family fishmonger's shop right across the lane. Meals are garnished with a simple salad, deliciously dressed in lemon and pomegranate and washed down with şalgam (fermented beet & carrot juice). It's in İnebolu's grid of central streets, just four doors west of the museum.
Ebullient chef Can speaks some English. Also available are grilled fish sandwiches (₺10), fish soup (₺10) and sometimes, if you pre-order, a dish called pilaki in which alternating layers of potato, pepper, tomato and fish are slow baked for 90 minutes in a buttery sauce.
