First things first: yes, it is connected to a petrol station and yes, it's 2km outside central Bitlis. Apart from that though, the owner is ultra-friendly and speaks a little English and the rooms are spacious, well-maintained and clean. It's by far your best bet if you need to stay the night in Bitlis.
