Lemon Tree

Bodrum Peninsula

Right on the beach promenade next to the small Yalı Mosque, this hugely popular place marked by breezy white-and-green decor lets you eat, drink and enjoy at shaded tables or on its lounge chairs on the sand. There's an appetising blend of Turkish and Mediterranean fare (try the house 'Lemon Tree chicken' – a light take on sweet-and-sour chicken).

Even locals come for the ridiculously massive and varied buffet brunch (₺40, from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Sunday). It's a lively watering hole by night, too.
