Timur Otel

Black Sea Coast

This decent value budget hotel offers a mixed bag of redecorated but slightly musty en-suite rooms. Toiletries are provided but breakfast in the wooden-framed rear dining room costs extra. The decor is a strange mixture of futurist sci-fi pictures and back-lit nature-view panels, some of which already show signs of damage.

Some rooms have views to the harbour and the hills beyond, but others are dark and windowless. It's just off Büyük Liman, set behind the little 'coin' fountain that features a numismatic portrait of Queen Amasris, for whom the town is named.
