Off season it's hard to fault the Sardinia for its winning mix of stylish rooms, a lovely 'secret garden' and an old-city location with many rooms sporting balconies that survey the Little Harbour. June to August, however, that location becomes a curse for light sleepers when pubs across the road crank up the music very late.
