Just past the bridge over the Rio Seco, a signposted trail leads inland to the Rio Seco Waterfall in Matura National Park. This stunning swimming hole and waterfall, with deep clear waters and a gorgeous canopy of rainforest overhead, is a 45-minute hike from the trailhead, and the path is signposted, well maintained and easy to follow without a guide, though it's best to go in a group.
