The simple thatched huts at this community-run enterprise, 3km south of Maubisse, offer unmissable sweeping views of surrounding mountains. The Timorese dinners (US$10) are decent, too. Guided visits to the uma lulik (sacred house) give a glimpse of traditional life; afterwards, swim at the chilly nearby waterfall or visit a coffee plantation (guides charge US$15 for up to a day). It's just above the main road; take the Kanurema turnoff.
