Ko Samet

The busiest of the string of mediocre beach restaurants on Hat Sai Kaew, this packs out for its nightly 8.30pm fire show, which is quite a sight (and smell). You can see it from the beach, but people enjoy their leisurely (service will ensure it) seafood dinners here. The location is better than the quality.

Afterwards, you can adjourn to the island's principal nightclub in the same complex.
