Evason Hua Hin

Hua Hin & the Upper Gulf

The myriad rooms and villas here are spread over 20 acres of palm trees and lotus ponds, and are fully outfitted and recently renovated. One strike against it though, for the deceptive name and marketing – it's in Pak Nam Pran, not Hua Hin – but bonus points for practising some environmental conservation.

There is a massive pool and a choice of restaurants, plus a luxe spa and the Blue Lotus cooking school. There are lots of activities for kids and excursions around the area can be arranged.
