One of several informal restaurants at the lake serving spicy salads, grilled or fried meat and some adventurous dishes, such as fried frog with garlic and goong ten, otherwise known as 'dancing shrimp'. The name refers to the way the tiny freshwater shrimp continue moving when mixed into chili, fish sauce and lime, and they're still alive even as they enter the mouth.
Visitors often order from the restaurants, then bring the food into overwater bamboo gazebos to feast.
