Pai

The large, semi-open-air dorms feature beds that are plastic mattresses on bamboo frames, and the whole ramshackle place could be lifted from a Survivor episode. Communal areas include hammocks slung under shade and a firepit, continuing the rustic theme, as does the location down a dirt track surrounded by rice fields. It’s 750m east of Mae Nam Pai, just off the road to Tha Pai Hot Springs.
