Kanchanaburi Province
A good location and very good value, this newly built three-room guesthouse is at the north end of Th Ton Phueng, fairly near the bridge and away from most traffic. The mattresses are hard and there's no wi-fi (it may come later), but you get clean air-con rooms for the same price that many older places charge for shared-bath fan rooms.
The English-speaking owners live a few doors up the hill behind the big mango tree.
